Hi! My name is Julia and I’m a wife and first-time mom to a handsome little boy. My passion for fitness started when I was 15 years old and joined my local YMCA to learn how to properly strength train. Although I briefly joined my high school track team my junior year, I consider myself a late-bloomer as an athlete. My first coaching experience was while attending college, where I became a volunteer body sculpting trainer for a semester of my sophomore year. After doing CrossFit for about 2 years, I decided to get my Level 1 certification.
My other passion is running! To date, I have completed 12 half-marathons and 3 marathons, including Philadelphia and New York. I’ve lost track of the shorter races I’ve done in the past few years.
I have had many people come to me for running tips and advise which led me to programming and coaching Running Clinics and becoming a Certified Running Coach through Revolution Running. It was an amazing feeling helping people accomplish their goal of completing their first 5K. I’m a now a Biomechanist at Santiago Chiropractic Associates in Lake Hiawatha, NJ.
Exercise does not have to be torturous. It does not need to take up all of your time. My workout programs are tailored towards busy people and do not require a crazy amount of equipment. I hope to inspire and motive you to be healthier and fitter!
